Showcase Farm

Our camps are in a safe, fun environment and every student is challenged to their level.  We offer summer camps for all levels and ages. From Beginner Camp to an Advanced Camp that challenges the advanced rider and introduces them to a wide array of equestrian sport. Starting in June Showcase hosts five camps during the summer and will run every other week. Spaces are limited and fill up fast. Most of our horses and ponies we use for our camps have an extensive horse show record or many years experience in our lesson program.

Beginner Camp

This camp is to introduce the student to horseback riding and to further the education of the beginner student. Safety and Fun is our goal! We specialize in starting students in the Hunter/Jumper discipline correctly, putting emphasis on horsemanship as well as proper riding style and etiquette. Our knowledgable instructers will provide the best education for the beginner rider in a fun and exciting atmosphere.

Intermediate Camp

 This camp is to further the education of the intermediate rider. We specialize in preparing the student for the competitive show ring in the Hunter/Jumper discipline, putting emphasis on horsemanship, equitation, and etiquette. Our instructers will provide the best knowledge based on over 30 years of successful experience on a National level in the pony, equitation, hunter, and jumper divisions. Students will be exposed to all aspects of horse care and will meet and discuss proper horse care with our veterinarian and our farrier. Students must meet the requirement with one our instructers, if not a current Showcase student, during a private lesson prior to the start of camp. This session is for students that can walk, trot and canter independently.

Advanced Camp

  This camp is to further the education of advanced rider. We specialize in preparing the student for the competitive show ring in the Hunter/Jumper discipline, putting emphasis on horsemanship, equitation, etiquette, barn management, and show preparation. Students must meet the requirement of currently jumping a 2-foot course at a canter to participate. Students will be exposed to all aspects of horse care and will meet and discuss proper horse care with our veterinarian and our farrier. Students must meet the requirement with one our instructers, if not a current Showcase student, during a private lesson prior to the start of camp. This session is for students that can walk, trot, canter, and canter a 2ft course.

Cost of camp is $250 per week per child

* $100 non-refundable deposit due by May 15, 2012

* Ask about our reduced board for campers wishing to have their own horse/pony to ride during camp.

 * Camp runs Monday-Friday 9am-2pm. Please have your child bring a packed lunch and plenty of fluids. Please let us know if your child has any types of allergies.
